Become A Driver

I have been driving for Rented truck Driver For a few years now I have totally enjoyed the experience. Frank has been awesome to work with. He actually cares about the customers and their needs. My customers have all been awesome to work with. What I know about RTD even if I wasn’t driving for them I would recommend them.

I’m not so sure that I can actually do a 2 or 3 line regarding this.

I’ve been in or around the trucking business most all my life. I have ridden across the old bridge in Vicksburg with my dad back in the early sixties. I vividly remember the mirrors on the two trucks that were crossing at the same time in opposite directions touching as we went across, the lanes were that narrow. So I’ve been doing this for quite some time. After retiring from a small City and just wanting something more to do than set around the house and grow old , luck would have it that I found Frank and rented truck driver. I honestly feel like I’m making a difference in people’s lives by helping them to be able to safely and efficiently move across the country while truly saving them money.

Now about Frank. In the trucking industry, there’s an old joke that asked how do you know when a dispatcher is lying. The answer anytime his lips are moving. I can honestly say that Frank is not this way I’ve been working with him for some time and I have yet to have the man even stretch the truth. He takes care of his driver’s like family as well as his customers.

I have been working for RTD for a little over two years now. Working with Frank and RTD has been a pleasure to work with.
Being retired from the aerospace industry after 32 plus years I was never able to say that I loved my job. I enjoyed it sometimes, I appreciated being employed and being able to support my family but I never loved what I did there.
Working for RTD I can honestly say I love my job. I love traveling this beautiful country, meeting new people and helping them move and start a new life.

I also love the fact that if Frank offers me a job and I’m not able to do it for whatever reason I’m able to turn it down without feeling any kind of pressure.
Frank or any of his assistants have never put any pressure on me to accept a driving job for RTD and I like that flexibility. I always look forward to when Frank calls to offer me a job and not knowing where it’s going to take me.
I hope to continue with Frank and RTD for as long as I can safely drive.
