How we vet every driver
- Initial interview: Would we trust this person with our own vehicle? If not, they don’t drive yours.
- Background check by SSC, Inc. (Shelton, CT):
- Nationwide database searches & county-by-county history
- SSN trace & pedophile registry search
- Driver license check
We disqualify: felonies, sex offenses, DUI in last five years, 2+ moving violations in five years, or any accident in five years.
Questions Asked About Our Drivers
- How do you screen drivers? Interview + SSC, Inc. background checks (national databases, county history, SSN trace, pedophile registry, license check) with strict disqualifiers.
- Can I speak with my driver? Yes, your agreement includes exact dates/times and your driver’s contact details. We start a group text chat four days prior to your move between you the driver, the office, and the owners cellular phone.
- How long can a driver operate the truck per day? The D.O.T. allows our drivers to be “On Duty” 11 hours which is about a 600 miles per day.
- Where do you operate? Nationwide, matching you with the nearest professional driver to your staring or destination location, making it more cost effective.
- What is my driver becomes ill or can not do the job. We have a deep bench of over sixy drivers to replace your original driver at absolutely no additional cost to you.

When it comes to hiring a Rented Truck Driver trust, dependability, and professionalism are a must. We require all of our professional drivers to meet the highest standards both on the job and off. All of our drivers are hand picked, thoroughly vetted and fully background checked by SSC, Inc. Corporate Services based in Shelton CT.
Our Driver Hiring Process
INITIAL INTERVIEW
Our team of interviewers assesses each driving candidate with an important question in mind: “Would I trust this person behind the wheel of my own personal vehicle?” If the answer is “no,” then they aren’t driving your belonings.
BACKGROUND CHECK
We conduct the most rigorous background checks in the industry for all driving candidates, including:
Three nationwide database searches
County-by-county residential search covering the driver’s entire adult life
Pedophile search
Social security number trace
Driver license check
Any potential driver whose background check reveals the following will not be considered:
- Felonies
- Sex offenses
- DUIs in the past 5 years
- 2+ moving violations in the past 5 years
- Any accidents in the past 5 years
Our drivers are thoroughly vetted with extensive background checks. They are trained professionals who have years of experience driving large vehicles.
